Other Causes
Being a weekend warrior: it’s always fun to have a bash at something new or a sport we used to do regularly. We often forget our bodies are no longer prepared for sports we used to do all the time, but haven’t done for months or years. Taking it easy in the beginning is important to prevent injuries.
No pain, no gain: this saying holds a lot of truth in sport and in life, but in the right context. Competing and training through an injury can make it worse, increasing recovery tine and decreasing performance. Some are so stoic with their pain, they let their problem cause permanent damage.
How Does Chiropractic Help Sports Injuries?
At Ryde Chiropractic, we not only look at where it hurts, but also look for imbalances in the body that could contribute to the injury.
We look to improve mobility and strength so your musculoskeletal system is working as efficiently as possible.
If the underlying cause is not treated, the injury is likely to recur and worsen overtime. This could lead to retirement from a sport you love and enjoy or losing the benefits of regular exercise.
We tailor our care to your needs, the level of severity of your sports injury and your goals for your performance.
Get started by discovering the cause of your injury and get on the road to recovery.
